2001 to 2007 VOLVO V70 / XC70
2003 to 2014 VOLVO XC90
This is  NEW shift knob Replacement Button with Pin.
This will fit  the 1-pin style  gear shift knob . Please look at the pictures.
This knob  will NOT fit the 3-pin style gear shift lever.
you can compare the two styles on the photos.
Please look at the shift knob and make sure that you are ordering a correct part.
If not sure, please send us some photos of the shift knob button so we can help to determine the compatibility.
Installation instructions:
The shift knob lever does NOT have  to be removed from the vehicles shifter assembly in order to do the repair.  DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED.
The replacement upgraded repair  button will be installed into the  original button housing prior to installing the assembled component back into the shift lever.
While  installing the housing with the replacement button into the shift lever observe that the metal pin of the new button has to engage with the ear at the end of the gear selector lever.
you can look inside the gear selector lever before assembly to make sure that you understand what the corresponding part looks alike
