Description
Printed in the late 1930s by The Metropolitan Life Insurance company, this guide instructs drivers on the best way to avoid becoming a statistic back in the pre-seat belt days. It was a blood bath (36,000 yearly deaths, 1 million injured yearly according to this guide). Less death, less premiums to pay, and this is a very well conserved document, printed by the insurance company itself, to get the accident rate down (and their premiums up).16 pages
I couldn't locate the print date, but the cars, police uniforms etc all date from the late 1930s to early 1940s.
