    Description

    Dating from the early 1970s, the front of this unusual advertisement looks like an early Bank of the United States 00 note, but on the back it is inscribed "Please Accept This Replica of A 00 Bank Note With Our Compliments.  It's Not Worth A Dime, But ... If You Need Some 1972 Money To Buy A New Car See Us ! Fast Action - Sensible Rates The First National Bank ... Burr, Iowa."  The banknote measures about 3 3/4 in. tall by 7 3/8 in. wide and is in good condition with a couple of pin holes and some edge wear.  The darkly stained surface appears to be original.
