WHAT IS CPS?
CPS – Custom Printed Submarine – is all about creating an open-source underwater drone. We design our drones so that everybody can 3D print and assemble them from scratch, or use our easy to assemble kits.

CPS 5
CPS 5 is our 5th version of CPS.
Its 5 brushless motors ensure
stability and versatile movement of the drone. On top of that, the movement of the camra creates countless video and photo posibilities.
You can operate everything with your smartphone connected to the remote controller.
Both software and hardware are open-source. Everyone will be able to build it from scratch and modify our design, improving the drone. The drone is designed to constantly evolve as a project.

If you don’t want to touch any internal parts of the drone, this is the option for you.
It is a complete drone with all parts already assembled and ready to swim. However, you will still receive all tools necessary for the assembly of the preassembled kit.

If you have some experience in electronics and hardware design or you are willing to learn it along the way of the assembly, we suggest to choose this option.
You will still receive all of the parts of the drone, along with some basic tools. Soldering will be a part of the assembly process.
Our “advanced” instructions will be provided in the box or on our website.
3D printed parts are optional.
We are offering the option without 3D prints for the people which have the access to a 3D printer and can print provided models.

If you have no experience in electronics and/or general hardware assembly, you will still be able to assemble this kit. In this way, you will also understand the inner workings of CPS 5.
You will receive all of the necessary components of the drone. They will be already preassembled, so that no soldering is needed. You’ll use only basic tools.
Instructions will be provided in the box or on our website.
3D printed parts are optional.
