Small Vintage Button, Woman in French Provincial Costume on Black Lip Pearl

Small vintage black lip pearl (shell) button with a metal escutcheon of a woman's head in French Provincial costume (I couldn't say which region specifically). Measuring just 11/16" across in good condition.
