    Five punch-mark symbols (see below) / A single punch-mark (dot surrounded by arrows and crescents). Irregular flat silver planchet measuring 16mmx15mm, 3.31 grams. Gupta/Hardaker ISPC VI IV F 145 (#574).
    The coin is made of good silver. The coin was buried next to come copper objects and the copper got deposited on the surfaces of this coin.
    Samrat Samprati was an emperor of Maurya dynasty who reigned from c.224215 BCE. He was the son of Ashoka's blind son, Kunala. He succeeded his cousin, Dasharatha as emperor of the Maurya Empire and ruled almost the entire present-day Indian subcontinent.
    The Mauryan Empire was India's first great unified empire. It lasted from 321 to 185 BCE, and was ruled by the Mauryan dynasty. At its height it ruled virtually all of northern and central India and parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
