The steering wheel (usually called Bakelite) is from an old stock. The traces of long storage had to be completely removed by cleaning and polishing to a shine. So no cracks, no scratches, no notches, of course not painted, perfect new condition, although it is 62 years old.
The cushion cap was stored in the same box. Also in perfect new condition from 1958, was never assembled.
The Mercedes emblem is in just as perfect condition, it has no cracks, no scratches, the background color and the star are also perfectly preserved.
The horn ring is also from 1958, no damage or pimples.
The horn hub too, as it should be.
