The old history of
Malaysia
isn't very known, for absence of archaeological rests. It was divided in states separated by the fluvial valleys.
The first kingdom known was Kedah, according to the Chinese and Sanskrit sources from the 7th century BCE. Later in the 13th century the Muslims arrived, being Malacca a centre of the Islamic expansion. The Portuguese took the city by
Alfonso of Albuquerque
in 1511, followed by the Dutch in 1641.
