French Vintage Large Scallop  and Seashell Inkwell Shellwork Maritime Souvenir
A lovely handmade inkwell presenting with lots of aging, perhaps 1920's era. Purchased at an estate auction.  The clever inkwell creation was made with pieces of natural seashells, scallop and oyster shells and beach sand. There is a beautiful hand painted ship signed by the artist. A glass ink pot sits in the middle of the sculpture. A miniature working thermometer is attached on the anchor. This is an original piece of art sculpture and is sold in "as is" condition. Please look carefully at the description and pictures before bidding.
