    Description

    Antique Sailors Valentine - 19th Century Maritime Shell Folk Art Octagon.
    Original sailors valentine, very old. The octagon shadow box measures 9 7/8" across. It was originally constructed with tiny nails. Over the years it has had some glue repair, and one piece is off, as shown in photos. You can see the original wood construction and the very old cotton inside the open area. We will leave the repair to the new owner.
    This extemely old and fragile item will be packed and double boxed with great care to ensure it arrives to the winning bidder in the same condition it is listed in.
