We offer for your consideration these Northrop Aircraft Company historical items.
If you are a collector of items that deal with the history of the aeronautical developments that have occured in southern California these items may be of great interest to you.
The hardbound book "Northrop an Aeronautical History" tells the story of Northrop Aircraft company from its inception in a hotel room in Hawthorne, Ca on August of 1939, up to the time the book was published in July of 1976.
The booklet "Northrop Flying through the years" was published in 1971, perhaps as an offering to the employees. It's 44 pages have 21 wonderful 4 color process images of some of the innovative aircraft designed and manufactured by the company.
The sealed VHS Format video tape is a mystery, We do not the content of this recording.
But judging by the title "Northrop at 50" its probably a super slick industrial promo. It may have been given to employees to enhance the sense of contribution they all made to the company. The reason for the warning label is unclear ?
