    Saffavids
    created a unified state by first way in Iran, and they imposed the Islam Shiite as official religión.
    In 1708 the
    Afghans
    of Kandahar declared the jihad to Shiites. They invaded Persia deposing the Saffavid Shah.
    Then Russia and Turkey invade too Persia, leaving a great part of country to the Afghans. In 1736 they were expulsed with the aid of Nadir Shah, the fonder of
    Afsharid
    dynasty, from Khorasan. In 1795 they were succeeded by the
    Qajar
    dynasty.
