This listing is for a
brand new
pair (2) of black 17" diameter modular plastic pontoons with an assembled length of 7'11". This pontoon set consists of a total of 6 float sections that are held together by your frame. Please be aware that this listing is not for a boat, but only for plastic floats that you can use to make a small boat or USV (unmanned surface vehicle - remote controlled boat). Our floats are made here in the US out of HDPE plastic (same material that milk jugs are made from) and have a wall thickness that ranges from 3/16" to 3/8", depending on what part of the float you are analyzing. This material is super durable and made to withstand both high and sub-zero temperatures. Unlike aluminum pontoons, our tough plastic floats are super impact resistant and will not dent or corrode over time. Our floats have a non-water absorbent foam filling as well. This means that if you ever managed to puncture one (we have not had a customer puncture one in over a dozen years), you simply can't sink!
With this kit, you get 4 straight floats and 2 nose cones. The straight segments each have an assembled length of 35" and the nose cones are 25" long, making an assembled length of 7'11" per pontoon assembly. Each float has a mounting channel built into the top that will accept a 1.5" wide rectangular metal tube or wooden timber (fits nominal size 2" boards). A couple 3/8" bolts is all that is required to hold on each float. Below we have provided dimensioned diagrams for the two types of floats that are included in this set.
Our floats ship out of Marked Tree, AR, but due to the vast differences with shipping scenarios with large parts, as well as the inaccuracy of the eBay shipping calculator for large items and items requiring multiple shipping labels, we do not have a shipping calculator on this page.

These floats are just small enough to ship with FedEx ground service, but if you need multiple sets, it's typically more cost effective to ship via truck freight on a pallet.

WARRANTY
Our floats have a 1-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects. This period starts the day that the floats leave the factory. If you receive a product and find a defect, please contact us as soon as possible and we will replace the part at no cost to you after pictures of the defect are received. Crash damage, misuse, and abuse are not covered under warranty. Once again, the warranty period is 365 days from the date the parts ship from the factory.
PAYMENT TERMS
When making your purchase, payment is due immediately. We accept payment via PayPal, credit cards, and bank transfers through the eBay payment system and PayPal.
SHIPPING
Due to the inaccuracy of the eBay shipping calculator for large items, we are not using it. We have this set of floats listed for free local pick-up, but we do have very reasonably priced shipping available. If shipping is required, please contact us with your complete shipping address (the zip code alone is not enough to provide a quote) before making your purchase. We will be happy to provide you with a quote.
