2 Framed antique engraved/carved shell buttons velvet back pierced deep cut MOP

Description

I made these several years ago with my favorites from my collection. I glued the buttons to black velvet. I do not remember the type of glue that I used, so assume that the buttons are not able to come off. The velvet is mounted on a mount board and this is taped to the back of the frame. Many of the buttons are very colorful, showing the rainbow colors of the shells/mother of pearl.
Frame is just under 1" deep. Frame is wood with an antiqued muted dark green finish.
