Description
Hello! And welcome to our eBay store!Listed here today for your viewing and purchase is this charming calendar top advertising Sarsaparilla soda's "Halcyon Days."
This calendar top retains excellent coloring and features a pretty young woman holding cut flowers.
It measures approximately 4-1/2" wide by 9-1/4" long and retains excellent, vivid coloring.
A hundred-plus years ago there was a calendar pad attached to the bottom of the print; however, it is long gone...
Hanging hole intact at top of calendar.
In overall very good condition for being over 100 years old! It has edge wear and there's a crease/fold line about 1/4" from the bottom of print.
The back side details "Astronomical Events, 1907 for the United States." Lower portion of back advertising a list of Hood's Family medicines.
Lower right-hand edge of front side give a copyright date of 1906 by C. Hood Co. of Lowell Mass.
I want to address what may appear to be a stain of the lower portion of the lady's blouse.. I believe it was made to look like that, as there are no other mysterious "stains" on the print, nor does the reverse side of the calendar have any blemishes.
